
Serves 4
| 2 x 15mlsp (2tbsp) Vegetable Oil |
| 1 Stick Celery - cut lengthwise and chopped |
|
100g (4oz) Basmati Rice - washed |
| 800ml (1pt 9fl oz) Vegetable Stock (made from water with 2 vegetable stock cubes) |
| 2 x 15mlsp (2tbsp) Chopped Mint |
Method
| 1. Heat the oil in a heavy based saucepan, add the onion, garlic and celery and cook until slightly brown. |
| 2. Add the Flava-it Tikka Masala Marinade, stir in and then add the rice and lentils, cook for 1 minute. |
| 3. Pour in the stock and bring to the boil, simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally, add more stock if necessary as the dish should be moist. |
| 4. Before serving stir in the chopped mint. |
