Garden Mint Lamb Steaks with Cucumber and Yoghurt Dressing

 

Serves 4

 

1 sachet Flava-it Garden Mint Marinade
4 Leg of Lamb steaks approximately 675g (1lb 8oz)
2 x 15mlsp (2tbsp) Red Wine - optional
200g (7oz) Greek Style Natural Yogurt
1/2 a Cucumber - cut into small cubes

 

  

Method

 

1. Preheat oven 190°C/375°F Gas Mark 5.
2. In a bowl place 2 teaspoons Flava-it Garden Mint Marinade, add the natural Greek Yogurt and the diced cucumber and stir, place in serving dish and sprinkle with coarse black pepper and set aside in refrigerator.
3. Place the remainder of the Flava-it Garden Mint Marinade into a large plastic bag, add the lamb steaks and toss to coat, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
4. Place steaks in a baking dish (spoon over red wine if using) cook in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or place on BBQ turning after 15 minutes.
5. Serve with cucumber dressing, new potatoes and peas or salad.
