Delicious Flavas since 1976

MRC produce delicious marinades, glazes, coaters, sauces and seasonings. For over 30 years we’ve been making our own products to traditional recipes using only the best ingredients, resulting in a range of products that add flavours to all kinds of meat, poultry and fish. We make our products for butchers and food manufacturers plus, for the domestic cook there’s our range of Flava-it branded products.

We are a privately owned family run company and very proud of our heritage. Founded in 1976 by Roy Dixon, it is now Roy’s son Gary who heads up the business. We operate solely in Manchester where we develop and manufacture all our products ourselves, and we have gone on to win numerous awards for improvements in manufacturing and best practice for energy and conservation. With a can-do attitude, and as an investor in people, we’re as proud of what we do and how we do it, as we are of our wonderful flavours.

Food Northwest Awards 2010 - Highly commended for outstanding SME in the North West.

European Award 2009 - Ruban D’Honneur and overall European winners of the Environmental category at the ceremony held in Rome.

European Award Finalist 2009 - Ruban D’Honneur recipient for outstanding customer service.

Food Manufacture Excellence Award 2007 - Prestigious ceremony at Grosvenor Hotel in London where we were national winners for the Ambient and General Groceries category.

Manufacturing Institute Award 2007 - Overall winner for best improvement in manufacturing practices, held at Old Trafford, Manchester.

Manufacturer Live Awards Finalist 2007 - In the top 5 businesses in the UK for our manufacturing practises.

Northwest Business Environment Awards - Best environmental practice, recognised as being the most environmentally friendly business in the North West.

National Energy Efficiency Awards 2006 - Best practice for energy and environment conservation, recognised nationally for being the most energy efficient manufacturer.

Food Northwest Awards 2006 - Preserving the environment was our first award, which was won at the prestigious awards evening at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
